Deposited by the Superintendent Minister of Frodsham Circuit in August 1969, December 1973, July 1974, May 1977 and March 1979, and by the Superintendent Minister of Runcorn Circuit in March 1981.

 

The chapel was built by the Wesleyan Methodists in 1873 and replaced an earlier building in Chapel Lane.
